That is the key! A good rust free donor like this Premier with buggered paint like it has is worth heaps better money. I know demand for run of the mill stuff has dropped, but the demand for really good quality stuff is very high. You all see lots of my posts of good donor cars, like the HZ Kingswood that started this thread. Just to find all the good stuff it has on it if you needed all that interior and driveline for a 63C Sandman, all in one spot - its like a HZ mine! I still reckon if anyone is taking on the challenge of a full resto, the best thing you can do if you have the space and the upfront $ is buy a really good donor. Just for rust repair sections alone it is a great resource. And you can gradually sell off the bits you don't need like sedan rear doors as you go - there has been 2 x wanted ads on aussiev8 for sedan rear doors in the last week or so, easy $150-$200 sale for each one without advertising. I have 4 x HK Monaros and 2 x Kingswood sedans as donors for the resto of my yellow GTS327, 3 x of the Monaros are GTS's and two are near rust free. I'd be screwed without them as the yellow car need quarters, pillars, some inner panels, boot floor etc etc.
