No the bonnet was closed when i was there. The engine bay shot was given to me by a mate that was there on the Friday...he didnt get them either. Although he did mention that its display board said it was a 1972 model but based on the amber indicators and air filter, it looked more like a 1974 model. Would've loved to speak to the owner about it but was no where to be seen. Bit of mystery i guess![]()

I think thats an lc torana front grill badge very close to hq but the letters are are different
I like the look of the mint Julip or Jamaican lime van next to the yellow hq ute, did you have anymore pics of it. Great shots thznks for posting. We saw the xy silver GT with the checkerboard vinyl underneath and the wheels off, at Bathurst gt nationals, I don't think it is ever driven.
