    Interior Trimmers?

G'day I'm looking for someone who can make me up some door trims, roof lining and re do my bucket seats. I'm located in Tasmania, so Tasmanian business' are preferred but if there are quality mainland business' that are cheap, good quality and can also post that is also good. Thanks

    Hi Doug !!
In the car resto market the words "cheap and good quality" seldom go handin hand!!

I just purchased a full headlining for my van for $250 from a trim place in Melbourne. Haven't got it yet so can't comment on quality yet.

Also, there are a few trimmers offering to repair your door trims. What this means is you need to supply them the metal top part of your old trim and they then connect a new board to it with the relevant holes and selected trim material.

Tassie might be a bit harder to source someone but most guys now are happy to freight to you at your expense.

    Good luck.

    Gaddy.

Thanks for that, do you know the name of the place in Melbourne? I don't have any form of door trim, I need ones like these

But I'm not exactly keen on the price + freight to Tassie

Should I buy 2 of these backing boards and then get a trimmer to do the rest for me?

Ta for the link. Yes'm going to buy 2 of these. I have 3 left and 3 right metal strips so I will choose the best ones.

You might be able to get a set of trims that are rooted and just scab the metal tops from them.
Beauty is ute sedan and van are the same front doors.
