    windows vs windowless

    Hi everyone,
Just wanted to know peoples thoughts about getting a genuine sandman with windows and how this would affect the value once restored compared to a windowless. Personally I think windowless look nicer, but one with windows at the right price and the body in the right condition maybe worth spending time and money on and easier to find for sale. Some people I have spoken to say to stay away from windows as they devalue the car as much as a sunroof. Look forward to hear what people think.
    Thanks

windowless are more desirable and usually worth more but a van with windows in good cond is better than one without windows in poor cond. Vans with windows look ok you just have to put dark tint on them

The advantage of windows is there are far less blindspots while driving....but windowless has that privacy aspect going for it

Your not suggesting something sinister would happen in the back of a van ivan

I'm going 2 have 2 say windowless 4 me :-) I've had both and am only speaking from personal opinion !! Each 2 there own really but @ the end of the day and as I'm sure most of you sandman lovers will agree , that if you had 2 of the same van in the same condition the windowless will be worth a bit more :-)

Never been a fan of side panel windows, it takes the "Panel" away from Panel Van. That said, "some" look awesome with tinted bubbles.
Time after time it is proven windowless versions are more desirable, more valuable and sell faster.

Here's the thing, if your Van has black outs around the sills and windows it will look sweet with black bubbles and to a lesser extent tinted flat glass.
Against a solid bright colour even more so.

I have had both and sold on windowed versions to replace with windowless. Most given the choice will go windowless for their toy. If it's an everyday driver you would probably like side glass for easier driveability.

Also remember Holden aways promoted the Sandman in the sales brochure as windowless.

Even the small V-Series flip windows actually work very well and it even surprised me how useful they are.
