    GMC 702ci V12 rare find

    Here is something different!!!

"These engines, as best we know, were made between 1960-1965 by GMC and were advertised at the time to be good for “200,000 miles between overhauls!” in ads. Total production run was about 5,000 units and we have to think that lots of those were run until they barfed parts and were scrapped so if any more than 1/3 of the original production run is around, we’d be shocked. That makes finding five of these suckers in intact condition pretty amazing"

Anvils go for heaps at the clearing sales and swaps we have been to lately one e en went for $2500 which is ridic. I want to get one for Rodney as they are very useful for bending metal when restoring. I think I am onto one from a collector friend

It has an odd note under revs. Sounds tough at idle.
Has a blow out factor on first viewing, but the nose looks too long on the car.
