Haha Was that what she was saying? ;) haha

Yeah, another brown one Same month, same year, but different factory to the van... and 3 more seats than the van..

Its a 95% rust free, straight and almost ready for paint HZ Kingswood SL sedan.. Factory 253/Tri/3.08:1 with Saddle Tan paint and Buckskin vinyl interior with cloth inserts..
Factory air con, working GTS radio, rust free twin headlight front, genuine rust free and straight GTS guards, yellow needle GTS dash, bucket seats with console + a spare immaculate WB console (including WB console lid..) and Speedy Hurricane wheels..
Theres bound to be more but thats all I can think of for the moment haha

Alot of it will be picked off for the van, but I will be keeping the sedan to build something (after the van is finished..) that I can take more than one person in haha
    Cheers,
    Matt

    What a weird coincidence!!!!!

What month '78?? and is it Pagewood built?

I'd bet you paid less for yours than I did for mine haha I paid a little more than I wanted to, but I guess you pay for what you get, and I have got a stack of parts for the van out of it, and a rediculously good sedan shell

I'm only missing one main thing for the van, and thats the original chassis which I'm still on the hunt for, and have a few leads on its where abouts haha
    Cheers,
    Matt

    7/78 Elizabeth

judging by what you pay for your cars Matt i'm sure i paid a whole lot more for mine!!!!

you've done the right thing scoring the donor. best value for money move you can make doing a resto imo.
finding that chassis would be like finding a needle in a hay stack. might be easier in the country setting though. good luck dude!

Its pretty damn close to being the same! Mines an 8/78 Pagewood build..

Haha nah, this one I splashed out on it! Its the most I've ever spent on a car before got the lot for $2200 that's with GTS everything (except steering wheel) twin headlight front, 2 consoles, a large Salisbury ute/panelvan/1 tonner diff (minus centre..), lowered front springs and a shit load of little bits and pieces

Yeah, its the easiest way to rebuild a car is to get a donor vehicle My down fall is that I want to fix the donor vehicle up once I'm done with it hahaha

Hahah Yeah, its gonna be hard to find, but I've found the original owner of the van, and chased back through a bit of history and am still searching, but have a lead on it being under a HX ute on a farm within a 20km radius of my house haha

I've got onto the fulla with the HX ute, and he's getting me a picture of the chassis number so I can determine if its the right one for the van :D But the only bad part is that another fulla was gonna buy the HX ute :(
So if its sold, I'm gonna see who it went to, and then see if I can buy it back for swap it for my spare WB chassis, cause I really want the vans original chassis

P.s the 253 in the HZ sedan is another thing that will go to the van, its very, very close to the original engine number, and if I can get the original chassis, the van will be as close to original as its ever gonna get..
    Cheers,
    Matt
