    sandman seat boards

    Would any body here be able shed some light l have hz sandman my question is the boards that screw behind the seats the seats are they are slate black does anybody know what colour they surppose to be they look like a light grey they havent been painted since since it was built l have owned it for 24yrs and have spoken to the first owner have asked a few people but no one knows thanks for reading

    They should be the same colour as the seats

    I thought they were all the off-white colour in panelvans that the rear compartment is painted in. The benchy had a similar board.

    They would be either the interior paint of Vynacoat (off white) or something very similar.
    Early Holden's were done in Speckleflek/Speckleflex. The stuff that looks like the bottom of a chicken coop.

    So with black seats the boards were grey dont know about that doesnt sound right or would of looked good at all
    i had an atlantis blue kingswood van and the boards were blue

    As I remember the back boards were the same colour as the painted area within the back of the van. Matches in quite nice, remember cargo would be up against it.
    Whether this was the same in every model or Sandman's I'm not 100% clear on. I'm sure other Sandman owners will let us know what their's were originally.

    You could be right the back of my van is the same colour as the boards but what the NAME OF THE PAINT

    The name of the paint is Vynacoat. The colour name I do not know. Hopefully others know the answer to this.

    The colour is called Grey Vynacoat. Code is 599 (or 589) 15160.
