Looking forward to finding out what the problems are.
Looking forward to finding out what the problems are.
Well I've got a few possibles. I spoke to a mechanic at work - turns out that he was an engine builder for GMH in the 80's - and he had a listen to it, and said that because the 'tick, tick, tick wasn't there upon start up, it could be - but is very unlikely - oil pressure related.
But the 3 things that he could think of that it sounds like is either a lobe has been damaged/worn on the cam, the bottom of the lifters being worn or one (or more) pushrods with mushroomed ends.. :/
I'm gonna do some more investigating and see what I can find outBut I'm making progress
