The good thing about a cab-chassis is there is less to rust or damage. I still reckon GMH was mad making utes once they had a cab chassis, they should have made a fleetside box available for those who wanted a ute, like Falcon utes. It wouldn't have been that hard to make a box up that looked just like a HQ-WB ute rear section. I guess if it wasn't for the need for a panel van that made it necessary for an integrated body shell that is how they could have done it.
Ther was one on eBay in the last 12 months that had a separate ute back. Looked neatly done.
