Spoke to dealers again regards any updates and they told me they couldn't find the records relating to the ute. Could be true or a brush off, not sure. But in any case not much I can do further with them. Might try some ads in army publications as someone suggested earlier.

Posted ads in the army news with no luck, did find out the last rego in ACT though YDT45E. Went offline in 05,same time as the ute seems to have vanished.
