    202 to 253

    How easy is it to transfer a 253 into 202 van. The van is running m20 box

    Not much really change gearbox and exhaust ,front springs there are a couple of other things im sure
    but not that hard

    Yes one is 6 cylinder one is v8

    This, plus radiator, might have to extend a couple of wires like temp/oil senders...it's not a big job. Maybe clutch set up depending what it has vs what it will be.

    Also your tacho will be out if you have one.

    Your diff will also be under rated for a v8. It will be a banjo or a small Salisbury depending on series. So all in all it's actually quite an expensive job unless you have a donor car to get everything you need. Diff, radiator, input shaft, engine. Clutch will also be incorrect for a V8.
