I bought it with complete re-trimmed 63V interior, body in bare metal and chassis in 2-pack black and underside of body stone guarded and painted. Came with 6 litres of 2-pack atlantis blue and 2 sets of sandman decals which I'm assuming are the right ones but will check that out in time. There is minimal rust, worst being a 5 cent sized hole underneath driverwide of windscreen. Bushes, ball joints, shocks have all replaced. No motor or box unfortunately but I have a worked VT 304efi and will decide whether to go for the T700 currently with it or a T350 freshly reco'd with stage 2 kit and 3000 hi-stall.

Probably more very late 70's or early 80's combo to be more correct. 1970's colours tend to be brighter, started to get less in your face by the end of the 70's.

i think the early seventies was more bright pastels (barbados, rose, strike-me-pink, Purr - pull, jamacian lime, azure blue) as well as various metallic browns whereas the later 70's was more metallic primary colours (atlantis, Flamenco, jasmine yellow, supermint)

Orange, lighter green and yellow are the classic 70's sandman colours. In all their various shades. Reds and blues are common over all decades before and after. Bright happy colours to reflect the "bright happy" hippy/surfy era.
I like a black sandman though. That's the black sheep of Sandmans.
