After removing the passenger door and fender, it was time for some armature detective work. After some hard thinking I was able to deduce the likely cause of the water ingress. Elementary dear Watson! It may be something to do with the gaping rust holes in the A-pillar me thinks.

The base and mid-section rust outs have been cut out. I will focus on repairing the lower section first before dealing with the upper catastrophe.
