Ahh it's not funny,Deep breath.. Get rid of the immobiliser(coz she's not gettin nicked anyway)and start from the start again, quit often the issue is so small you "can't see the forest for the tree's" I have read back through and haven't worked out weather you haven an electric or points dizzy but basically check each connection as you say you have changed coil, leads, plugs, etc and there are plenty of suggestions about ignition key etc.just use baby steps and I bet ya find it. OH and don't forget FUEL

immobiliser? why didnt you mention this at the start? is it a home job immob, eg its just earths the coil or the ignition or a shop bought one, sounds like the wiring has been jiggered with either way and probably a wiring issue in the ignition, also unusual for a fuel pump just to shit its self, has this been changed to an electric pump? or does the immob have a fuel cut off switch in it aswell?

Que? They are great numbers but the best I have seen out of my 308 was around 15L/100km at around 95-100km/h, but then again I'm also trying to turn a TH400 with a 2.78 Limmo. The secondaries crack at around 102-105km/h on the flat and then all ecconomy bets are off.... Like flushing a dunny over 120km/h.

One of the reasons I'm going with an injected stroker (with another engine, not my virgin bore original) when I get around to it. Looking at Whipple kits to suit in case it doesn't burn enough fuel...

Good to see you're onto it Vombil.
