    Wheels,who likes what?

Who likes what wheels? I love Simmons three piece wheels. Quality wheels that look unreal. Especially b45.

Yeah, I don't mind those either.

For a set of wheels that doesn't cost as much as a car though, hard to go past some 8 inch Hotwires.

Simmons are nice (and pricey), but they don't work on some cars. Globes and 5 slotters for the Gee Tee fraternity, I don't hold with the hotwires being a povvo option (unless they are less than 7 inches wide) but not a huge fan of kidney beans/American racer type wheels unless fitted to a late 60's/early 70's American muscle car. Convos, Centrelines and Dragways suit just about anything low and wide and there is a mob in the USA doing 17x8 Rally type rims like these (which I reckon don't look half bad), but not sure of the offsets available....

My favourite wheel of all time is the Centerline Autodrags in satin finish. That said they must be on the right car and definitely not the poor imitations.
I had Simmons on my shop ute. Looked good but buckled whenever they got sight of a pot hole. Really disappointing product and never again.

Nothing beats the look of rally/gts rims on HQ-HZ but I like them widened.

all depends what they are on,My son has a VS commodore with ssz wheels that looks really nice and i have always liked walkinshaw wheels on early commodores but for the old girls i hate anything bigger than 15 inch especially on EH,HR etc.My Monaro has B45 simmons but i think it needs something a bit tougher like centerlines.I love hustlers on HK-HGs and hotwires on Toranas. My old van had Globelines on it and i never liked them but for some reason i left them on it for the 15 years i owned it and they are still on it today( i sold it about 15 years ago). I really dont know what wheels will go on my van, i would like to paint it Absinth and maybe centerlines.Old school cars deserve old school wheels but then again i did grow up in the 70s

I have always liked polished US Indy Racers on HQ-HZ's....

Cant beat Hotwires on an LH/LX and the XU1's Sprintmaster wheels on the LC/LJ.

PS... I agree with the GTS wheels ok but only if they are widen to 8" and chromed on the hoop. 6" cheese cutters don't really look the bit.
