    Behind the passengers seat in the upright position. There is a spot for them. The handle folds in half and lies across behind the seat.

    I think the handle lies parallel with the passenger sill with the handle end tucked behind the passenger seat. There is a clip that holds it in place against the sill.

    Too true. Owners manual shows the jack goes on its side too. There should be a clip to hold the wheel nut tool above the jack as well.
