Yeah, I understand that. Where I was going is that the trend was going away from performance and towards luxury. Also with the Commodore soon to be appearing on the scene the wheel cap was more of a match with the Commodore style. Holden has traditionally (tried to) made as seamless a transition as possible between models and the Opel that the Commodore was derived from already had a similar horn cap.Originally Posted by HK1837
So The allen key horn cap was pinched from Pontiac (Trans-Am/performance), then the round one was pinched from Opel (Kadet & Senator/luxury).
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
