Hi Wombat, Did you find anymore about tail shaft colour. As you know I have 253 four speed like yours.

Saw your tailshaft, same blue colour as mine and Dad's, both HJs

Yes I saw that and that's what triggered my question as I have 253 four speed HZ.
You're doing a great job on your rebuild.
