I have never seen the HX-Z Horn button insert done by Jason. Got a picture?
Your saying you have a HX-Z horn button with an aftermarket Sandman insert on your WB?



I currently own multiple cars, none of which are Sandman's so I don't clog this forum with them.

Of course just because I don't currently have a Sandman doesn't negate my interest in or opinions of them. On forums people share knowledge, facts, admiration and interest along with expressing opinions through contributions.

I should ask the same of you James, where are the links to your Sandman build?

I really have no idea which your car is. Was it the green ute with a canopy on the back and the gull wing doors? Mercedes style doors?

Ah mate my hx ute is or was in the shed section. And yes Jason was doing HX/HZ style badges for horn caps and yes I do have one on my 3mm GTS steering wheel with HX GTS style horn cap. This cap came from rare spares in 2000 when I restored the wheel.

Yeah that's the type I meant, the HX/HZ style horn badge. Holden should have done it to start with.

Thats Dave for the link, it is what I was suggesting for Jennie to get people off her back about it not being correct etc. I do understand she would like to keep the wheel original. I do also as I have stated, but I would prefer it be on a HQ.

If that is what you were after Ian I was barking up the wrong tree. The one that sold on ebay I was referring to was a genuine HQ Sandman horn cap complete which the seller claimed was 10/10 but in reality it was about a 8/10 in condition.
