front end interchangeability????

Have been trying to work out if it possible to use the bottom section ie: the lower rail including corners from HJ thru HZ radiator support panel to repair an HQ one or are they a bit different?

the differences are in the corners as in where the blinkers/headlights sit on an hj to hz...yes you can use an hj to hz lower to repair the hq one...i have done it before...

Thanks for this - hopefully the rust free HJ-HZ panel I picked up at a swap meet the other week isn't as useless to me as I thought it was going to be... had brain fade when I bought it (helped by a seller who was 'certain' it was HQ!) only to be reminded how different HQ ones look when I got home and looked at my ute. just remember that all hj to hz had 2 holes in each outer end of the rad support next to the headlight holes to accomodate the blinkers...hq didnt...

Ok have one more question related to this one please - are the inner front guards the exactly the same from HQ thru HZ? Thanks

hj thru to wb...hq again is the odd one out but they will fit if you make them..it has to do with the shape as in wheel arch of the gaurd..

while i am out taking pics of window chanels and firewalls tomorrow i shall include inner gaurds and rad supports..really i havent got much left to cover...except for linkages cables wiring wipermotors wiper washer pumps etcetcetcetc...
