Just picked up my HX Sandman Ute this week which is Deauville Blue with 60A trim. Looks to have original silver face while needle GTS dash and has black dash pad. GTS wheel has correct horn (Allen bolts, no logo) but has 5mm spokes, not sure if this is original or does that make it an earlier wheel? The console, door trims and seats have been changed at some point as they're not chamois. Anyway what I'm keen to see is some pics of a HX sandy van or ute original 60A interior, especially the door trims as I understand they're meant to be chamois with black carpet lower sections? Adam Perth - any photos?
60a is Chamois/Black on a HX Sandman. Carpet is black.
Thanks guys. Very helpful as always
If your going to buy carpet imo knox carpets make the best ones
Just had a look on their page. Looks good. Another question relating to the blackouts. Does the black for the window frame go inside the door as well as outside?

Good question. I haven't seen enough original HX Sandman van bodies from both Elizabeth and Acacia Ridge to be certain. Plus I don't have enoiugh evidence to know if the window blackouts were done at the assembly plants or the body plants, if it was the assembly plants then there are four x variations to consider rather than two. The lower body blackouts were body plant as far as I am aware.
Ah ok ill just paint the inside aswell it will look better. Another question about colours. Is the roof linning colour chamios or something else?
