I'm planning on getting rid of ALL the petrol related stuff and replacing the fuel tank with another gas tank....any ideas on what size or shape is best? what sort of pricing would I be lookg at? i've had one ball-park figure of around $600.

yes, i believe it's a donut 45L ?? not too sure on the size but he did say it wouldn't be very large and could well be defined as a "reserve" tank. I was actually hoping to get something a little more sizable and double the range of the current tank tank, i.e. currently gas tank approx. 280K's and fuel tank about the same....giving me around 560 - 550 k's out of both tanks... dunno if it can be donemaz..its a pity you are in vic as everything you need including gas tanks ive got...

donuts are what fat yank coppers eat and then let gas out...i have a wb ute there with twin normal type tanks and 1 is where the fuel tank went i think..will try and get you some pics....dunno why the **** someone would tell you to put a donut in???:knockout:
