HQ seats and consoles?

So what are they? Early Monaro, I figured they may be something like that, but not having seen the car I can't be sure(it's out the back of Braidwood somewhere), and my mate's not a Holden guy so it really didn't matter to him.

Where are you, maybe we could come to some arrangement, I need quite a few bits!

All HQ consoles have the opening at the rear. Sandman's had a blanking plate. You need to use the hole to attach the console to the rear mount. Some of the short consoles that come up on Ebay have the same blanking plate.

Rare over here too, that's why I jumped at the offer of this one even if the seats aren't what I'm after, they are probably in demand!

Mauser, it sounds like the car I've been offered has the short console, so hopefully it has the blanking plate, I recon that would be one of the harder parts to find!

You will often find the seat separator with blanking plate in HQ column shift bucket seat cars. Belmont sedan and wagon with buckets probably don't have the ashtray either.

If they flip forward they sound like Monaro ones (which would be handy in my Monaro).

I'm in Canberra and have a farm just south of Bungendore. I grew up in Braidwood.
Send us a PM when you're ready. I'm sure we might be able to work something out. The Kingswood has a full 4 speed console too I'm pretty sure. I'll be out there on Sunday weather permitting, I'll try to snap some pictures if I remember.

yes, I have seen a few go through ebay with the blanking plate attached.
