    Okey Dokey....

I drilled it today with a 1/16" drill and lightly countersunk the holes. I poured some water in the gutter on each side to see the result and am happy to say that the gutter drained, albeit slowly to almost totally dry. They drained down the edge of the windscreen mould. I treated the holes with zinc primer and you can hardly notice that they are there. Once it's painted they will just look like they were always there.

Thanks for the advice, I might have drilled them a lot bigger otherwise and it wouldn't have been anywhere near as neat.

Boy, you've got too much money (or a LOT of gutters!). $275 will buy you a good ladder and then the gutter cleaning is free for life.

Not too keen on them myself, but $275.00!!!!!?????

Hey, thanks for the talk last night. I'm sure I would have drilled the holes at least 1/8" if not for your advice.

I remember some blokes back in the 70's actually cut a section out near the bend at the front and it looked really bad. There were some horrific things done to vans in the old days........
