I kind of agree with him asking for a deposit, every second car i sell on ebay gets sold 2 or 3 times before it gets picked up not because the bidder comes out and its not what they expect but rather they bid and dont make any contact, and to get your money back through ebay is a pain both parties have to consent to the sale falling through before you get your money back and even then you lose the listing fee, if both parties dont accept the transaction as void, ebay takes about a week to cancel the transaction, i hardly even bother getting the refund anymore it holds up the sale of the vehicle and in the end if your selling it you just want it gone, if you want the car, pay the deposit, when your talking money like this you should have checked the car out before bidding anyways so a deposit shouldn't be a problem you know what your buying.
haha i hate ebay but i cant stop using it!!!
