No rego labels in NSW

We have had it over here for a few years . Works ok, govt saved $1.8 million per year.. But old number plates are gold now. Get an unlic car, put some plates on it and sell it as a licenced car from the local train station. Only way to check is if u have an iPhone and the dpi is up and working to confirm the rego...

We didn't get a new plate system, all the plates remained as is.

Also, they might have claimed a saving of $1.8 million on the stickers, but the postal & admin sections of the dept. had a $2.5 million increase in costs but they don't communicate, so they can't see it.
