geeze i spent $45,000 on my tonner but i paid for a few things i shouldn't have, i think ill get in on budget, a lot of money was spent doing things twice due to change of mind poor quality parts and compatibility issues, (and the father in laws a panelbeater /sprayer) so im pretty right there
Sounds like you have a mission ahead of you. Good to have some of the stuff you need to start. All I had was the van. 16k for that. All that's left is cosmetic, wheels for the outside and rocker covers for the engine bay. That's about it. I have a mates 50th in 2015 and I'm trying to organise all his mates to put in to get his XC panel van restored as a surprise. Then start on my second HZ sandman.

It's his baby. It got beat up some 15 years ago. That's what happens when you upset the wrong people. They jumped on the roof. Not good for a van. I just want to see him cry when it's done.

That sounds about right. Let just say its difficult.
It really doesn't matter how many are left anyway. The ones that are out there are out there, and the ones that are hidden away are there for the next generation to find and enjoy......
