    Can someone tell me with the main electrical plug in the firewall how do you remove the wiring from it , can it be done without damaging existing wiring or my case the cabin side of wiring/plugs, I am having a new engine bay harness made up and need to send this plug to the guy doing it, do the plugs on the cabin side just pull out have tried without success

    Two bolts (diagonally) from memory and they should pull apart.
    The spades on the end of the wires have a "tang" that must be depressed with a very narrow screwdriver. They are about half way down the terminal itself.

    Great work. Looks to be a long slow job. Looks like you used wire wheels and paint stripper. What treatment are you going to give the bare metal? Are you going to put any type of rust converter?
