When GM-H released the original Mambo concept VU Sandman van, they also made an accompanying ute. The van got much more press than the ute, but it did exist. I saw it on display at the Bathurst 100 back in 2000. That year the Sydney motor show & the Bathurst race were on at the same time.
Anyway back to my point. There are plenty of good photos of the van but very few, if any of the ute. Does anybody on the forum have any pics of the VU Sandman Mambo ute.

I'm sure I remember Ben Stewart telling me he test drove both around the driving centre in Queensland.
I have photos of the Ute and the Ute and Van together.
