FS - WB bits and pieces

    107.jpg

I'd rather see these bits go to someone who might use them rather then scrap them.
5 Post alloy Bull bar, Alloy ariel holder, Hayman Reese tow bar, 15" wheels and tyres, Rocker panel covers, chrome door handle inserts and the Kingswood bump strips. All in VGC.
I realise freight might be an issue but you never know who is out there looking. Only bit I'm looking for are a couple of plastic mirror gaskets.

I'd suggest you put the five post bulbar on Ebay. Set a reasonable start price (looking from this angle, say $500) and you'll more than likely sell it.
The Deni Ute Muster is on next weekend, put it in a 3 day auction and someone might be keen to grab it in time to bolt it up and get a defect notice haha
    Good luck with the sale.

The most valuable things are the Kingswood side strips. A really good set of these can go for over $1500. You might get more for scrap for the bar than you get offered due to freight issues. The one that was on my HJ ute when I had a head on I think I got near $100 in scrap, that was 15 years ago.

Could be suprised with the bullbar. I had a big 5 poster for a VS for sale, nothing particularly rare. Had a guy call up, put $750 in my account and organised shipping to a mine in the middle of WA.

Tuff in Toowoomba make a nice bar as does platt in Orange.
There are still people who have to contend with roos when driving at night.
Every Landcruiser at my work has another a 5 post, 4 post or a profile bar on it. These cars never leave the mine site though.
Actually rural Australia is the same as it has always been. Roos still smash cars radiators out, at least the ones on cars without bullbars.

As someone who is heavily into the 'scene' I can tell you these bullbars are very much sought after. Especially the bigger ones.
I've recently been to a BNS in Jerilderie where 10 of us in a row had HQ-WB utes, all resplendent in bullbars similar to this. To the right person, these bars are gold. Mine has a big dent in the mesh from hitting roos. I lost my immaculate grille and front bumper due to not having a bar on the ute, as wbute says.
I maintain selling it on ebay.
