    Points to Electronic Dizzy Conversion

I have acquired an electronic dizzy out of a WB for the my HZ van. What's involved in wiring it up?

Easy job. Leave the points dizzy cap onthe engine.
Get an XE Falcon rotor button.
You need the coil off the WB too, just use a short plug lead for the coil lead as the coil has a post.
Bolt it all in and connect as per normal.
Drop the steering column and bridge the pink and yellow wires at the output of the ignition switch.

And you'll love it! It's a great conversion.

When I did the 308 into Sunbird swap I used an electronic dizzy and it's a piece of cake. Starts 1st time, every time in all weather.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

Yes but I think 6cyl might be the same, but the one I used was a Cleveland one.
