    chalk marks i believe are initials and was a quality control thing as not all cars have them..
    the ry on the column has something to do with the style of column i think but not 100 per cent..
    the date code is 14th april 1978..
    is that what you wanted or you need details off tags?
    tags gone to research if thats what you need.

    hmm ok interesting. More crap to note in my HZ GTS anal project lol.

    Im going to have to research the steering column RY thing a bit....

    Do you know what plant it was? also sedan or ute? factory power steer or no?

    d342 arrived on the 02/12/08 and was an hz with a ht 253 motor in it...originally it was a 6 cylinder and it had no power steer..chassis no was bhz19xx4s,so it was sidknee...build date 4/78....still here in the yard..column is still in it..
