    Hello everone

Hi new to the site thought id give it go. Ive been a mechanic for over 17 years and in that time have collected heaps of early holden parts ( hq wb) love my old holdens ive got a hq panel van , hz statesman , lj torr hz tonner getting done up at the moment plus others vehicles in different stages. The pride of the fleet is my drag car 632 big block in a windowless hz van (or whats let of it ) hopefully be on the track this summer. Ive done up different holden for people from ground up rebuilds to modifying . If there is some thing I can help a fellow member out with drop me a line weather it be parts or a mechanical question id be more than happy to help . The one question ive got is how do I tell if ive got a hj sandman ute . What numbers is it ment to have ? so far ive wrked out it a factory 253, four speed when I got it there was a gts dash in it , no front on it and it had a ten bolt diff in it it is also a 2 seater going by the id plate . Any help would be great thanks .

Ok that's a hard one to ID as its a kingswood ute, but there seem to be a few sandman kingswoods built from Melbourne . It will have to have the console brackets to suit the full length console to be sandman contender. Not sure what paint code it is
