Hi can anybody help me I am buying an apparent genuine sandman ute model no. HXWM80, trim code.1890-18V, paint code. 568-15953, engine code. L32-m20 gearbox GV7, I know what all the codes are he assures me that it is a genuine it looks original factory 2 seater the only thing I'm worried about Is the GVM which is 2200 can anybody tell me if this is right? If it is a HX Holden ute or van with 18V trim it is a Sandman as long as it has an ADR plate. 18V is a Kingswood trim and the only time you find it on Holden lux level is in a Sandman OR a vehicle built for NZ (no ADR tag on these).

So as long as the plates are original to the body/rails you have a Sandman.

PM me the ID if you like and i'll check it is all aligned.
