THRILLA, this car has competed in skid comps around the country, gazzanats sa top 10in burnouts and "promoters choice" in show and shine top 50 at summernats 2013 burnouts among other good placings at WA events,

Prefably sold as a roller incl fuel system, msd7 ignition, final drive engeneering 9"diff.

Body has been highly modified with a tilt forward and lift off nose cone, smooth fire wall and suicide doors, chassis has been narrowed and rear end has been tubbed. In side there is a sheet metal dash oil pressure temp and boost guages and custom trimmed yellow and black seats.

Jeez, I hate the term "Skid" when being used for Burnout almost as much as the feral's calling a Donut's - Circle Work.

Me too! a skid is when you are coming to a stop.....

Aside from that, it's a great looking van, should sell easily. If I win Lotto soon.........

It's funny how terms can creep into a sport and then become the accepted thing.

Watching Bathurst on sunday and they kept calling anything a "bit of kit", including a teams transporter!

But a skid is a locked tyre attempting to stop. A burnout is a tyre accelerating faster than the car is moving.

Yup, that "Bit of Kit" is a pommy thing. I had a go at the missus the other day when she asked me for a Flash Light!
Watching the Footy Show and in a Vox Pop one player said he had to buy Diapers on the way home.

So far the Mexicans still call a Mall a Mal so it's not all bad YET!

I did "Skids" on my pushie when I was a kid.

Maybe a carry over from people saying they have seen skid marks on the road.
