Population of Parkes is about 10000 shire population of around 15000

How long has the Parks event been run for? That's a phenomenal turnout considering the population!
Mook the show and shine has been running for ten years, with the first year having 15 cars second year 25 cars, and so on. Last year 140 entrants, and this year 182 and better than that can assist raised $2000 from a gold coin donation on the gate from spectators and local business's sponsor us to around $9000 with about $2500 in advertisement. This will result in $6500 form sponsors $2000 on gate and probably $1000 from entrants and raffles which will give can assist about $9500 from the day.
Sponsors like to see their money going to a good cause, and our club will probably make $2500 to $3000 from the canteen.
A lot of organising but all worth it when we get good result.
