Holden is ceasing production of the ute. Sales have dropped off significantly due to import's. No surprise there. I am glad I have mine.

"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
Another aussie icon bites the dust :(
Stupid . Drop it for 6 years and bring it back again like they did last time
Extra stupid since Ford is stopping the Falcon. Hopefully they bring it back with a solid rear axle and leaf springs. Or at least put an LS2 and auto into the Colorado.
On the hunt presently for a good VY VZ V8 ute preferably white or silver will consider other colours manual or auto if anyone has one or knows of anybody selling will pay up to about $13,000 cheers
Best one of these is the VZ post VE sedan release, these have a 6.0L engine.
Maybe bring it back every couple of years to keep everyone keen I think they do something similar with the f250 imports so they don't flood the market. They would line up for a ute if they new it was limited and low numbers seems everyone has a late model ute.
What a shame.

Looks like the only people buying Aussie V8 utes are the racing drivers that crashed their utes today at the Gold Coast. What are they going to race in the next couple of years, Great Wall utes?![]()
