WANTED - HZ Sandman Ute

Any condition considered.

Must have matching tags to chassis. Im not buying a set of sandman tags tacked onto a stock ute with GTS bits and non orioginal chassis. If I wanted to do that I would build 5 of them with the bits of alloy "sandman tags" I have for framing. ;)

Has new T400 and radiator
Only thing not original is the edelbrock alloy manifold and the new carby on it (cant remember what it is), I might even change these to original if i get time..
I'm in the process of re-spraying body due to a few imperfections..
one door was stuffed so i am replacing that all the rest is original..
new regulators will be fitted along with the factory tinted glass.
Body has been rust treated back in the days of old ..so looks to be rust free..
Some doewacker painted it black inside..so i will be fitting original buckskin interior
It has, (what i will call Dealer fitted) GTS guards ( Byron still cant confirm or deny them as a factory fitments)..
I will be selling it finished and in roadworthy condition..
I haven't got the N77 alloys that it came with (I have got 1) so i will be selling it with N76 wheels fitted with new tires.

As long as some bloke gets me the decals (DX5).

I was planing on taking it to the ute muster in Deni with a for sale sign..

No Idea as yet... I will give Jason first option as he has been after one for a while.
I was thinking of going for best offer or putting it in the Shannon's Auction...
Not really sure till I see how it looks all back together...
It won't be listed on eBay thats for sure...(never say never)

Well as you said ive been looking for a long time for one for the old man. mum hassels me just as much to find them one.

Their budget isnt huge. They are really looking for something to suit rebuild. But not a major rebuild.

I guess anything upto about 10k we will consider...

I myself also have been looking for a long time for a palais white sandman ute or van. =)

the exterior looks not to be HZ with the fluted guards and the single headlight front end.....what do others think:confused: might be a good pick up if not to expensive
