found HJ with 18X trim

Yep, seen it on Kingswoods, Monaro's and Statesman's.... It is nothing out of the ordinary as Slate black trim was available on HJ.... HJ Sandman was available with 18V trim on Kingswood ute.

Isn't the X in the 18X trim code just cloth insert. Maybe hounds tooth or david jones style pattern.:Tongue:

I haven't found anything to confirm if the letter codes correspond to a particular cloth style, it doesn't seem to.

Caprice had velour trim but black would be a rare trim colour in Caprice.
