To be honest I doubt they would care. It has become like fashion, where they pump the latest "thing" out essentially telling us what we want. Baaa, and like sheep they all follow. Follow off the cliff in this case.

I've become a bit anti-Holden in recent times. The last ones I owned were the V2 CV8 and the VZ Cross8. After those they haven't built or sold anything close to what I want/need. Before I got my Mrs the RX350 to replace the CV8 I told her she could have any Holden or HSV, didn't want any of them. Wanted an SUV. We looked at Holden's SUV's (Captivas), absolute rubbish and I swear they had a Briggs and Stratton under the bonnet. VE was way too big. I looked at VE utes before I got the Hilux, bloody stupid that the VE wagon can carry and tow more than the ute.
So am I surprised they have failed? No. Not only do they have cost pressures they aren't building what the market wants in a quality product: SUV's, Utes and small affordable good quality cars (like Corolla and Mazda3). If they think they are going to continue selling product in this country with the same quality imported junk of the wrong specifications they are selling now they'll not last.
