The colour is growing on me Byron. The more I look over it the better it gets, there is very little wear on the pedal rubbers which means it wasn't driven much or did long klm. It started out in Mt Isa and I have a receipt out of it for a retread tyre purchased in Canberra in 1982. Apparently it has been in a shed for the last ten to fifteen years and a young fella bought it, he removed the door trims, console, sunvisors and carpet and went no further..... It was then sold to the guy I bought it off. So I need those interior bits but the rest in there and mostly original. Dash facia is a Rares repro but the gauges are original as is the lower facia panel with the blanked off footwell vent slides.
the rear cargo area is dent free and still has a good cover of grey vynacoat so it has never been fitted out or carried much. The original six digit speedo shows 40,000klm and judging from the wear on the brake and clutch pedal rubber pads I would be surprised if the odometer has been clocked more than once.

I am considering just fixing up what I have to for roadworthy and driving it around as is for a while as a survivor... Engine is strong and blows no smoke and the brakes are good.
