A Sandman could be ordered with windows.
HQ - HJ Sandmans the windows were done within the factory
HX - HZ they were done by the dealer or a 3rd party authorized by the dealer.
Did I get that right?
Byron has the register and it is not as simple as how many were made, there is a breakdown of possibles and unknowns and definites. There are no official GMH records of Sandman production numbers.
I have been living in Castlemaine for 3 months and have been driving around Bendigo and Kyneton and have only seen 3 vans(white trady, aqua kinsgwood and a black HQ) (no Sandmans), they are being stored more and driven less!
no mate..... As far as I know all vans could be ordered from the factory with side windows right up to and including WB. The windows in my HJ and HX are factory installed and the windows in Rod and Jennie's HZ were factory installed... All are the same size and interchangeable throughout the models. You can tell factory windows by the size and positioning in the panel.Originally Posted by Blocker
