    Nooooo, has happened to me plenty of times. That's why I have the bar. You're quite lucky the damage isn't worse.

    Lucky it is a HZ Caprice grille as at least these are relatively easy to get. Shame about the panel damage. Lots more damage if you were in a plastic bumpered modern car!

    I had a similar roo incident in one of my LH Torana's with almost the same damage and while I was devastated at the time, it really wasn't too bad to fix.
    The grille is obviously stuffed, but the nosecone is a pretty easy fix if you just take your time. Looks like the bonnet and bumper are OK too.

    Bloody 'roos are a constant problem down my way, I hate driving at dawn or dusk when they feed by the roads edge.

    You'll be OK fixing this one, just take your time....
    Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
