I have a 12/77 hz van plate, send me your email
just tell me if the ADR number on it is 25 or 25a, should be 25.

HZ parts manual lists thick spoke 5mm GTS steering wheel to be used with ADR 25 and thin spoke one to be used with ADR 25a. There was a change to ADR 10b (steering column) at the same time and I wanted to confirm Holden complied with these changes from 1st Jan which it appears they did. HZ parts manual is accurate.
so if you have a HZ built prior to 1st Jan 1978 you should have the 5mm thick spoke steering wheel.
i couldn't understand what it had to do with anti theft locks but after some investigation found the change to ADR 10b coincided and the 25 to 25a on the compliance plate made it easy for dealers to identify HZ cars fitted with the earlier steering wheel.
