not up on Torana but your GK1001 should be HQ to HJ and GK1007 should be HX to HZ. This is due to the different consoles used, HQ/HJ had the shifter pattern on the front lift up console lid so no need for the pattern engraved in the knob.... HX/HZ had the little tray at the front of the console with no shift pattern so had it on the knob instead.


FYI, I am quite happy with the GK1001 knob I got for my HJ Sandman... It looks and feels the same as I remember on my HQ and HJ Sandmans back in the 80's and screwed on easily.... Nice product.
