    1977 Holden Sandman HX - carsales - S.A

    This Unique Holden Sandman Van is in VERY GOOD condition. It has a powerful{REBUILT 308 with L34 HEADS} engine.This new motor has only traveled approx 6200km. I am only selling as I have recently purchased a new car.

    This Unique Holden Sandman Van wont last long at this price $36,000. Rego has been paid until Oct 2014. It has had the body blasted and the small amount of rust cut out and repaired.
    The paintwork is PPG Panama green Original HZ colour.
    The SANDMAN stripes and letters have been reproduced as per Original SANDMAN.
    The motor has a rebuilt Rochester.
    The gear box M20 4 speed Has just been rebuilt which has done less than 500kms.
    Has power steering.
    Gilmore belt and a 3.08 Salisbury.
    New breaks all round with drilled and slotted front rotors.
    Peddles front springs and shockers all round.
    Seats have been re trimmed Tan in colour.
    Yellow needle GTS dash.
    15 x 7 Pontiac wheels with nos Holden caps.
    It has air conditioning (factory) in dash just needs compressor put on the motor. piped and gassed.
    All nuts and bolts on the car have been cad plated.
    Great car to drive as a non Original Sandman.
    The first person to drive will buy.
    Hard to find in this condition.

    People struggle to understand wording. Genuine vs Original for instance.
    I don't know if this Van is a "Genuine" Sandman? But it very well could be and just because it is a genuine Sandman; it is far from being "Original" as to how it left the factory.

    Looks like a nice car though. If it is a 5 litre Sandman and you could haggle down to high $20k's you couldn't buy and build it up to that for the money.

    Good luck to whom ever buys that, lovely van!!!(very nice on the eye) HK your right it would be nice to buy in the high $20's...but I really think its worth nearer that money.

    Not with windows, green, a HZ and non original. HQ in the same state definitely yes.
