Yes when Absinth says it is an XX7 don't go looking for the XX7 stamped on the ID plate. Some people think XX7 has to be stamped on the plate for it to be a Sandman.
XX7 is the production code number given to Sandman panel vans and only Acacia Ridge built vans had XX7 stamped on the ID plate.
Don't forget XU3 Blocker. XU3 is the "normal" or "traditional" Sandman once there was a tyre choice.
I was just being very specific on the XX7, of course the XU3 is a Sandman as well and like you say 'normal'.
What is meant by that is the XX7 has the term 'derated' associated with it because the tyres supplied were passenger type tyres instead of the commercial rated tyres.
