Early HJ's optioned with U17 instruments had the sliver fascia, it was the only fascia available. Even Premier and LS got the silver fascia despite the rest being woodgrain. It wasn't until later HJ (possibly even until 1976) that the black fascia for Belmont/Holden and Kingswood plus the woodgrain one for Premier and LS were fitted. My HJ Premier has a factory fitted U17 dash with silver fascia, it is 12/74.

HX have white needles, HZ and WB are yellow.

All assembly plants made XX7's and XU3's but only Acacia Ridge stamped the special vehicle package codes.

I think you'll find there were no silver HQ fishscale either, it was just the coating deteriorated quickly.

I can tell you approx where it is in the PSN sequence for the assembly plant it came from, but they were made at 4 x assembly plants. Plus they weren't built in the order they were entered into the schedule, so the 50th PSN may be the 15th completed for example.

10/74 is a 1975 model year car to GMH. The next year model started on 1st September.
