Hi guys, things are finally starting to move ahead with the Sandman project. I tried to attach a couple of pics, one is of the body in the paint booth finally! The other is of the headers from Pacemaker which I just rec'd last week. Mike Richter from Pacemaker was very helpful in getting me the right header for what I was doing and they fit perfectly!! Thanks for the recommendation!
Hey Don, looks good. I just noticed the gearbox in the second pic. What is it? It looks a bit tall from the photo angle, does it sit ok in the tunnel of the body?
It looks like a T56 (6 speed) with the forward mounted shifter.
We'll get there shortly.
Tranny is a Tremec, If I did my measurements correctly I'll be OK fitting in the tunnel.

Haven't decided on a color yet but I'm leaning towards a burnt orange metallic. I have been looking at various colors of photos on the web trying to find something that really appeals to me. I know its supposed to be white, haven't ruled that out completely yet either!
Thanks Don. I have a Tremec TR6060 to put into my panel van and i was told i would have to tinker with the tunnel due to its size. I will be really keen to see how you go with this box.
I like green on Sandman Panel Vans. There was a colour called Jamaican Lime which appealed to me.
Cheers
