    Yep that's another way. You will also note that the engine number will also follow that sequence.

    173H = QDXXXXXXX
    173L = QEXXXXXXX
    202H = QLXXXXXXX
    202L = QMXXXXXXX
    253H = QRXXXXXXX
    253L = QSXXXXXXX
    308H = QTXXXXXXX

    H = High Compression L= Low Compression engines.
